Sofia

The capital of Bulgaria is Sofia. Sofia is the largest city in Bulgaria, with a population of around 1.5 million people. All main embassies, financial institutions and large companies are based here, but Sofia also boasts a 100year old heritage, making it an important tourist destination. Sofia has the most developed real estate market in Bulgaria, with apartments in the centre of town currently going for around €700/sq meter. An average return for a buy to rent apartment in Sofia is currently 8-10% annually.

Ski Resorts

May be most of you already know that one of the most popular destination among the foreign and Bulgarian tourists are the modern ski resorts situated in our mountains. These regions are extremely popular mostly for their specific natural beauty and character, which allows them to develop and grow into excellent all-year-around resorts.

In the last few years besides the stable interest toward the already established mountain resorts such as Borovets, Pamporovo, and Bansko, there is also a growing interest toward the equally beautiful but less expensive regions, cuddled at the foot of the mountains Rila, Pirin, Rodopite, Stara Planina, and Vitosha

Black Sea Cost

The popularity of the Bulgarian coast and sea resorts has seen a robust growth in recent years. The tourism industry as well as the building sector has grown into one of the main drivers of the national economy with double-digit growth rates of the number of tourists each and every year. Bulgaria offers a budget alternative to more expensive European resorts, while quality of service does not fall behind Western European standards in the high-class resorts.

Clean beaches, safe swimming and wide sandy beaches characterise the northern Black Sea Coast with the lively town of Varna a good base from which to explore the surrounds. To the south lie picturesque bays and unusual rock formations, and the trawler port of Bourgas flanked by the old Greek fishing villages of Sozopol and Nesebur.
