Running Costs
Running costs associated with a property in Bulgaria are much lower, compared to those in other European countries. The owner of a property pays an annual property tax, which is equal to 0.15% of the declared value of the property. In addition to the property tax, owners also pay waste-collection fees, public lighting, and so forth, which are of minor importance.
For the residential complexes, the owner may pay a fee per year with a contribution to the union of housing for 24-hours safety measures, cleaning, swimming pool, insurance, etc.
